How to create a rule that alerts if features clash

Hi,

I want to create a rule that will show the user an alert if certain features clash/interfere with each other. i.e. If two holes cross paths this will trigger the alert.

Is there a built in flag for this in Inventor (2014)?

Hi ak_cryo,

It sounds like AutoLimits would work for you. Note that you might need to go to the Addins tab and ensure that you have AutoLimits turned on:

The other option would be to create a reference dimension between the holes, and then create an iLogic rule to monitor that dimension.
