Unfortunately, you have to change the units for the entire library. You cannot change the units for individual materials.
To change the units, click the down arrow at the bottom left of the Material Browser and select Set Display Units. I recommend changing the units to the unit type you desire, make your changes and then change it back.

Hi! The dialog does not look like Inventor Material Browser. It looks like AutoCAD Material Browser. Is it true?
I am not aware of a way to change unit display in AutoCAD Material Browser. But, you can do that in Inventor Material Browser.
Many thanks!
I am using autocad. For all people, except US residents, feet are the things under our legs we put in shoes and make us move.
Why is it so hard to let people work in metric units?
Hi! Let's not get political here. Unit is to make sense of a given measurement. There is no right or wrong unit. If you have suggestions to AutoCAD, you may want to go AutoCAD forum (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/bd-p/706). There are a lot of AutoCAD experts to help you.
Many thanks!
I am not political. Units are things to measure, not to convince.
But let's be honest:
But, with this, my problem isn't solved. How can I use metric units in the autocad material palette?
And...
I received this link from the autodesk help on twitter, but I'll ask it again on the autocad board.
If you want to stay in metric set it to your default by configuring the default template by clicking on the gear on the advanced section of templates.
Even if the photo is stamp size, changing the template settings to metric /iso solved this issue for me.
