How to change "tangent edge" visibility in drawing to "phantom" line font

Howdy

I found how to turn on the tangent edge display easily enough, but the solid line font just won't do.

I'm doing a bunch of long pieces a square tubing, and a very faint tangent edge font is just right.

Thanks!

TB

Tangent edges are controlled by the Visible Narrow Layer.

Go into the Styles and Standards editor and change that layer to Double Dash Chain.

You can also change the Line Weight.

I am showing a default of 0.014in, if you are in a metric drawing, just set this weight by half and it looks good.)

I just experimented with even thinner and liked the results.

You might want to set the Scale by line weight too.

Very helpful!

Just a small update - in Inventor 2019 the layer is called 'Visible Tangent Edges'
