Dear All,

I have little question that, is it possible to change background colour of drawing sheet in inventor?

I have to change background colour white to black ( as in autocad) .

If it is possible pls where is setting in how to do it?

Thanks and regards,

You can change the sheet colour by: Tools ribbon -> Document settings -> Sheet tab and the "sheet" button

but, I don't know how well it will work with a black sheet, as all the lines/dims/views/etc will be black on a black background.  You'll need to change all your layer-colours (manage ribbon -> Styles Editor -> Layers) to white to make them visible, but then when you print anything it will be trying to print white lines on white paper...

The sheet Background colour is set in:

Tools > Application options > Colors

The colour of the drawing back ground depends on the style you are using.

You can create your own styles, see this post:

Dear Sam_m;

Thanks for your Answer. I got that setting.

But you are right it is not going to work better as white sheet.

Thanks for your advise.

Have great day.
