How to add new font into Inventor 2013

Hi, please help:

I need to add an additional font into Inventor 2013. Font is properly installed and it is inside the Windows font`s list. However, it does not appare in Inventor font`s list (for instance, in Microsoft Word it works). What do I do wrong and how to solve the problem?

As far as I know, Inventor uses any fonts that are available in Windows.  Can you post the font here and let somebody else try it?

Is it a truetype font?

As it needs to be vector i think...

Not attached..

Must be a true type font (.ttf extension)

Open Type .otf or Post Script or Autocad .shx fonts are NOT supported..

Don't post your phone number on the internet..

forget it..we don't need it.

Simply see if its a true type font or not.. Just look at the extension.. It must be .ttf and must be placed in your windows fonts folder. You might have to restart Inventor for it to show up (don't think so though)

If its not a ttf it will NOT work and you must download/buy the ttf version.

Same Problem here, and it's a TrueType Font i'm trying to use, same as ZachJa I can use the Font in Word, and , Yes, it's in the Win/fonts Folder Properly Installed *.ttf..

Any Suggestions?

Hello there,

actually there is a good workaround

Extrude the vector faces. Conversion to curves is the right choice.

An extra vector tool maybe? Or projecting the sketch.

Kind regards

Daniel
