how to add a custom view scale to the current standard (blind user here)

Not sure but it seems like Help is indicating I can add my own view scales, yet I can't find it in the interface.

See attached.

Can someone lead this blind user?

You're not blind, you just didn't change
the "Preset Values" drop-down box from "Line Weight" to
"Scale".

deaf user here...

what happens if you click on the "New..." button? does it allow you to
enter a new scale? Then I assume the Save button would become
available.

Not really sure myself. Not deaf either!

Doh! Another PICNIC error (problem in chair, not in computer). Thanks.

Oh but hey, it won't let me type in 1" = 1'-0" . . . stupid computer. Guess I gotta type in 0.0833333

Type 12:1 or .0833333 but 12:1 is better IMO and follows all the other scales potato/potatoe, tomato/tomatoe

maybe Brian's reply has what you need. I was refering to the
screenshot you provided. There is a New button right next to where
0.007 in is highlighted. I was speculating that maybe you first have
to press the New button.

Sorry to throw in the joke about being deaf. Playing on the old saying
"the blind leading the deaf" thing.
