How to add a bump map to a texture

Hi there i am workin on a model in inventor and i want it too look as good as possible, so one of the things that i need is to bump map a texture. Please help me.

I have a custom texture and a bump map file as well but where do i put it?

You do this in Inventor Studio. The bump map will not appear until you render it. Adjust Surface Styles as necessary to get to your goal.

You didn't mention what version of Inventor you are using.
Search your hard drive for *&.bmp

You will also need to become familiar with the Styles Editor.

u don't actually need a bump map if you don't want one. Well i know thats for sure in 2010. In studio under the texture styles you can check a box to use the color bitmap as the bump map as well.
