Hi Mike, thanks for the info. I was also wondering if there was another way to do this or if right clicking the part in the browser was the only way...

It's the only way I'm aware of. Is there a reason this doesn't work for you?

No ofcourse this works. But im still trying to sort out my issues with the one seat you helped me with before. Im just trying to find a way around having to open each individual part of the assembly, because when I attempt to do this at assembly level my computer takes FOREVER to load. Anyway- thanks again for all your help.

I don't remember your application, but if you have a butt-load of these you need to suppress links on you could use a macro...

Not familiar with macros. Can you tell me how to do this?

How many of these do you have? Are they all in one assembly? Are there sub assemblies?

If you check out this class and download the handout, you'll find some illogic code in the back that suppresses all derived part links in An assembly.

at the least there is a total of 20 in one assembly. And yes the seat has 6 sub assemblies.
