HOW DO I CREATE THIS FILLET?

I am converting an Autocad file to Inventor and would like to know how to create a 1/2 inch fillet when I do not have a 1/2" of material on one of the surface faces I'm selecting to create the fillet? I have attached the part file.

You will see the 45° chamfer [Extrusion3] that gives the handle some contour [X4]. Where this Extrusion3 terminates the dwg calls for a 1/2" radius. Extrusion3 only removes an 1/8" of material. How do I create a 1/2" radius at this juncture?

thank you,

in case somebody else looks at this, it's a 2010 file - I can't open it
with 2009.

Like this?

I just sketched a 1" circle tangent to the chamfer on a perpendicular plane.

What size fillet does your actual part have ? Can you post the ACAD file ?

You cut a 1/2" fillet into his part. I'm pretty sure that's not what he's after...

What about a swept feature? I think we really need a drawing of this.

Actually, the two methods Ryan has posted is what I am seeking to accomplish. Thank you Ryan! Those will work, but for future situations like this is there any easier approach? I was thinking the fillet feature tool would some how offer you the ability to control the center of your fillet radius, by allowing you to offset it a specific distance from the selected faces used to create the fillet. No luck there??

If you can manage to have the foresight to realize you need it (I never do) you can just sweep the chamfer, then mirror it to all corners, on a square part, you can circular pattern the feature to save time.

Does anyone have a faster way?
