How do I calculate volume of a body?

Here I have a simple 3D body.  I want to know its volume.

My textbook confuses me, and my internet search did not come up with an answer to something this simple. Smiley Sad

How do I ask Inventor 2015 for the volume?

Look at iproperties, Physical tab.

Edit:

If you need different units, change the part units first in Tools Options Document Settings Units.

Therein lies the rub!

I don't seem to have a "Physical Tab" and I can find no reference to "iProperties" on the Ribbon.

Where are these things?

Why can't I see them?

Right-click on the part in the browser, select "iProperties", open the "Physical" tab, and hit "Update" if it's not greyed out.

Ah Ha!

No wonder I couldn't find it.

Thanks
