Andrew,

From my understanding, you want to export a DWG/IDWG from Inventor to an  AutoCAD DWG without an intent to bring it back into Inventor for changes.

From:

http://docs.autodesk.com/ACD/2010/ENU/AutoCAD%202010%20User%20Documentation/index.html?url=WS1a91938...

To restore a dimension style
  1. Click Home tab Annotation panel Dimension Style.
  2. In the Dimension Style Manager, select the dimension style to restore. Click Set Current.
  3. Click Close.

Alternate

  • On the Styles toolbar, click the arrow in the Dimension Styles control and select a dimension style.

Please try this and let us know if this is what you are looking to do.

Thank you.
