Hot keys not working in 2008, well a good portion of them anyway

My hotkeys aren't working too well. 'E' doesn't extrude, 'P' doesn't place, but CNTRL ENTER returns and 'G' rotates and 'RA' replaces all. Anyone else have or had these problems?

Yes, I checked the mapping under customization and even tried remapping a few of the no workies to get them to work but no joy.

Troy is right. I am just turning the squeaky wheel hoping to get some grease thrown on the issue.

Like always we will not commit on the NG to exact dates.
But rest assured we are fixing the shortcut problems that we know of and we
will deliver something "soon".
And don't ask me when soon is 🙂

OK I'll shut up about it now (for as long as I can)

Did everyone try the fix that Sami K. posted a while back?

See http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?threadID=569408

Nobody commented on my previous post in this thread. I thought that it may have been overlooked.

Since I applied this, I have not had any issues. Hopefully it will work for others with this issue.

Does the solution that Sami K. posted set the commands to what he programmed it to or can I change them to whatever I want after using his fix? Also does this slow the program any?

I believe that it sets them back to the default settings.
