Hole Note does not update after I change the part

Using 2013 sp1.1

After I change the hole size in the part, the callout in my hole note does not update. (crazy, I know).

Watch this video.

If I pull a new hole note after the change, it has the correct dimension. But, if I change the hole size again, this new hole note does not update.

I put the part on a new idw and it updates correctly, so somehow the idw is hosed.

Kirk,

Couple of thoughts.

Did you try a complete rebuild of the drawing after the update?

Also what happenes if you use that same part and create a completely new drawing?  Does that drawing update?

"Same part in new drawing"... it updates correctly (see my original post).

"Complete rebuild of the drawing"....  Its greyed out in the idw.  A rebuild all of the ipt after the change doesnt help either.

Sorry to bring up an old message...but did you find an answer to this?  I am using Inventor 2014 (all service packs installed) and I just had the same issue as the video you placed.  Edited a hole in the part, but the .hole note did not update.  Just wondering if I am missing something.

Thanks for any help

Mark

Hi Mark,

can you please send me the dataset (IPT and IDW) which exhibits this problem? That would help me a lot to see where the problem is.

Thanks

Ladislav
