hole command bug - sort of anyways

half of this is operator error.

say your about to make a hole. if you put something that doesn't work in the
for a termination dist, say 1..125 it turns red and you fix it.

well my partner ignored that and then chose thru all for termination. the
hole fails.

it took me 4 new sketches and 20 minutes before i checked the dist because
the hole was supposed to go thru.

i thought if you choose thru all, it would ignore whatever is in the thru
dist.

not a big thing, just a little annoying.

thanks

Matt

interesting, I bet ADSK will add this to the "wish list". I was able to
repeat. Autodesk please fix!

That means one of the two of you get to report it 🙂 No guarantee it will
be seen here.

There's another way to knacker the hole command.

I can't remember the exact steps but it went something like this -
Switch to counterbore and delete the C'Bore diameter, switch back to a
plain hole. You have to shut down and re start IV to use the hole
command again.
