Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has a tutorial or instructions on how to make an Areoplane propeller.
Thanks

Post the url of the search for prop or propeller thread here that you are using for reference.
The CADWhisperer YouTube Channel
offset a heap of planes from a central hub
on each plane, sketch the cross section of the prop from the prop design sheet
then run rails along the sops from the sections
then loft along the rails

I doubt I would offset more than one plane.
The CADWhisperer YouTube Channel
you will need a plane for each of the sections along the length of the prop blade
the profile of a prop is not consistent, it changes with a log scale as you get closer to the tip, theres some pretty fancy maths to stop the vortex coming off the end from breaking the sound barrier
or was that a pun
how many planes can a prop have...usually just the one..its where the pilot sits
Propellers are defined by blade cross section, blade lateral area and pitch, so just draw a sketch of the blade cross section, use the coil feature to set the pitch and then use extrude to cut the lateral shape you want and finish it off.
