help with adaptive spring and driving an angle constraint

I am making a longboard assembly for my design class with autodesk inventor.I have all of the parts completed, and since with inventor you cannot create a material like a bushing of a longboard truck that is "soft: and folds in on itself providing a spring back, I wanted to create an adaptive coil instead. I looked up some tutorials and only found adaptive coils using a mate constaint, where the coil expands, but I need the coil to be driven at an angle. For the uploaded file, I am trying to drive the "angle 9" constraint with the part, "hangar new 2," and "bushingnew1" everything I have tried so far isnt working, any help as to where I could go from here would be great, thanks. unfourtunately I am at school and i cannot compress the files to make it available for download here. The file is available here: https://app.box.com/s/pb8urn66ra6qyh3nhpde

Who told you that you can't model a soft bushing and make it adaptive?

Look on here for adaptive bellows it will show you how..
