Help on Autodesk Inventor printing HP designjet 500 Plus

Hi

I'm having an issue with inventor. We just updated to Inventor 2013, and now we need to print something out (.idw)

I'm new at this job, and we have limited with resources and skills.

The previous guy working here was "special" and didn't share anything to my co-worker. But he tells me it was possible to print out in 610mm the X line, and "unlimited" the Y line (depends what you wanted to print out)

The problem:

We have the "HP Designjet 500 Plus" printer, and it would be ideal ofcourse to use this to print out large models.

Now we only manage to print out stupid no 1:1, 1:2 1/2 etc scale, we have to use "best fit" under printing, If we use

"model 1:1" in printing we only get an A4 size.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I would like it to be possible to open a new .idw and get the frame on around 590mm on the 610mm paper, and as long in Y line (printing way)

Any easy way to do this? would also be ideal if i could tilt it sideways so i can have the drawings in "wide-screen" kinda

Sorry for the crappy english. Norwegian folks for the best Smiley Happy

Daniel

Did you adjust your .idw sheet size to match the large plotter sheet size?
