Help needed: surfaces, sketches and tangent

Dear Gentlemen,

Patch boundary should be tangent to Sketch2 but Inventor doesn't let me to set it. Any idea how to make it in order to remove the hard edge made by Sketch2?

Thanks,

Zoltan

You must have geometry to make tangent (see attach construction surface for one technique).  Check with Zebra Analysis.

I try to avoid mirrored surfaces like this.

It seems to be OK, thanks! How can I avoid mirroring to get the same surface? I've tried a lot of thing but this is the best I found... only needed the tangent trick.

Well, I'm not sure there is a way to avoid mirror in this case.  It would take quite a lot of work to come up with the best way to model this part.  I am waiting for you to (mostly) finish it before I take a crack at it.

If it checks OK with the Zebra analysis (do some research on that if you are not familiar) and it will Shell or Thicken as needed then you should be OK.
