Create a line INSIDE the same sketch for the rotation axis.
If you are using an origin axis for the rotation axis PROJECT the axis in
the same sketch.

Hi! I tried to search for similar topics, but didn't find any- guess my
question is too basic. But I need help.
I want to create a rotational object. So I created a sketch, drew the
layout, set dimensions and constraints (there are still 6 missing, but all I
get are driven dimensions by now).
Now I want to rotate this around an axis. When I choose Part Features>Rotate
it does rotate my layout and create a rotational part, but it's way to close
to the axis. I also can't dimension the distance to the axis.
How can I do this?
I quit the sketch and created a work axis on my y-axis, but still can't
relate this to my layout in the sketch.
I can't create a work axis in my sketch.
Thanks for any help! I think I'll have some more questions later 😕
