I've looked many places, but still cant seem to find enough imformation to answer my question.
What i'm trying to do is create an Assembly model, with parts that i've created, and have it automatically update when i change the Excel Sheet that is "Driving" the Parts/Model. I've come very close to getting this all to work, but for some reason after adding a few more parameters into my excel sheet, which i have done before and it worked just fine, Inventor will not load the new parameters.
I've tried updating the model and global updates. I've also tried closing Excel, and closing the Inventor Parts/Model, and Inventor still will not recongnize the new parameters i've added.
It seems like its something very simple, but i just cant seem to figure it out.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
Cheers

Right click on the "linked" folder, edit start cell and hit enter!
Also make sure there is no empty cells or spaces between rows in your spreedsheet!
If these do not work attached your spreedsheet
Thank you for the reply!
I have checked the start cell (A2) and clarified that. I've also deleted the folder and relinked it. But im not sure if that just made things worse or not. Whenever i relinked it, it still will note load the last few parameters that i've been trying to add. Would it be neccessary to link all parts? or would it be good to embed into the main assembly, and have the other parts linked?
I'm going to keep at it, maybe it'll click.
Thanks again!

Stephen,
Thank you also for the reply.
I've expanded the file structure, and it seems to be correct, but how can i tell if it is "linked" or "embedded"?
Okay, so it is linked.
See attached part and Excel sheet. This excel sheet has many parameters, which i am using most of them in my large assembly.

Thank you Stephen!
That fixed it.
So to conclued, if there as not any data in the "Equation" column, Inventor will not import that parameter, nor any parameters past that.
I'm also proposing that if there was a value inside of that cell, even a value of zero (0), it would've loaded correctly.
