Handling Text with .ipt modelling

How do you adjust text style, rotation and alignment while in .ipt? When I try to edit text the pull-down menu will not allow me to select other than the default mode and I cannot rotate or align. I need this feature because I am modelling electrical connectors which must have their pin numbers labelled while I am in modelling mode. Any ideas would be most welcome!
Thanks

You can use construction geometry to tie the text
to and use dims/constraints like you normally would.

If you are embossing a sketch then you use
horizontal or vertical constraints or a angle dimension to rotate the
text.
