Graphics Diagnostics

Hi guys,

What does the information pretaining to the Graphics Diagnostics (App Options --> Hardware) tell you?  I have been having some issues with my video card (usually only happens when in ACAD and trying to roatate a 3D model,  ACAD will then proceed to crash) But I have also noticed some strange behaviour within Inventor Pro 2012. Below is the clipboard information from my test...

This Direct3D graphics driver is Microsoft WHQL certified
Graphics Hardware Description:

Tells me your driver is not up to date..

Update your driver with the latest version on Nvidias website..

Version 296.35 released 04/03/2012

Hopefully that will fix it..

I updated the Driver and am still having issues in ACAD (rotate 3D model and crash).  We will have our IT guy come in Thursday to see if he can pinpoint the error.  Thanks for your help!

An old school draftsman does! Hes VERY good at it.  Hes the "If its not broke don't fix it guy" So he won't change until he has no choice.  He pretty much does the modeling and structural drawings while I do the analysis, detail/ sub-assembly drawings. I essentially import the ACAD file into Inventor and make the drawings that way.  Its MUCHHHH faster making drawings in IV then ACAD.

I did uninstall the old driver.

Darren - are you reffering to the config in ACAD or the Config in NVIDIA settings.  I know you can set up different configs for different programs within NVIDIA Control Panel
