from A3 to A4

after drawing a few idw. drawings on a3 format i was asked to print copys on a4 sheets when i printed the first page the printer was still reading the a3 format. is there any way to change the format without having to re-edit the whole scale of the drawing. ????

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can change the
sheet size at any time by rmb on an empty space in the sheet and
selecting "edit sheet...".

The very annoying thing is that you can change the page size to A4, but the title black and the drawing remain at A3, so EVERYTHING needs to be rescaled and adjusted.

Did you click on BETS FIT and also check your printer setings, as that sound like the printer was also set for A3

The IDW that you see in the background of the following screen shot is on AO it DOSE print to A4 with out any problems

However, the scale on the drawing is now wrong, and the size still reads A0.

Can the size of the whole drawing be changed with a single click (or three)?

Other option

1) Create a set of title blocks 1 for each size of paper, save as a template & use that as your default IDW template

2) Ste the sheet to A4

3) Use the scales in the Edit View

4) |Print it out

Hi Paul,

Thank's - I had thought of that. However, the frustrating this is that it should be doable with a single click. We shouldn't have to produce such a work around as you describe  for a siftware package like this.
