Friday Pictures 7-18-'14

Hey guys, time for another friday pictures!

Thing is, i don't have a picture...

So i decided to make a quick screencap of a CAM simulation with HSM Express.

We've finally gotten round to giving that a bit of a try and so far results are pretty good.

It's 3 min long, so might take some time to load.

Enjoy!

Stephen,

Just curious, but what is the purpose of the small green plate on the face of the multi-turn?

Ok.

Since we are on the subject of Torque Buckets, here are some of ours.

Not the best quality of illustration.

Nice...  These buckets are designed not to need a torque tool so they can be used with a range of standard manipulators and not destroy the valves.  Theres a positive stop on the quater turn and the multi turn is configured to have a positive stop, this one can do 1 to 10 turns and you can set the stop anywhere in between depending on what valves you are using

Something simple but I thought that it looked good.

Nice!

I found a drawback to the free jing account: Friday picture topic drains the allowed bandwidth, so apologies to everyone who wonders why my post isn't displaying anything anymore.

I guess I'll play this week ...

Stuff from my day job is confidential, but my second job not so much ... this month I've got my students working with the plastic part tools / injection mold design suite, so I built a demo mold to make an iPhone case to show them more or less what I expected them to complete.  Here's the core and cavity plates from my mold, along with the front / back / assembled case.
