Friday Pictures 11-14-'14

Had a few spare moments this week so here is a ShowCase render that received a bit more attention. 🙂

These are 2 of our company's patented plunger pumps.

Have a nice weekend!

Nice job!

This is a work in progress... no way even close to completetion, note the lack of steel under the equipment on the skids.  This was laid out as a proposal of the piping system, and I show it only as an example of the elaborate things one can do with Inventor Tube & Pipe... as infuriating as it is some days.  Don't ask what it is... I can't tell you.  🙂

Can hold 134 Barg @ 240°C

Shell thickness 95mm

Inside diameter = 1650mm

Total height = 9meter

I posted a table I had design for myself a few months ago.

Someone asked for pictures of the completed project.

Needs a few years to properly darken.

How did you mount the back post?

It's a gate leg. The leg on the right is split into two halves and hinged in the back at center.

cylinder_mesh.JPG

This is a cylindrical mesh I've put together using equation curves and derived parts/assemblies.  It's kind of a proof-of-feasibility regarding these types of geometries.  So far, the total project size of five files is 882 KB.  It can be edited parametrically.  It requires some tweaking in the 3D equation part file, assembly, and final assembly to "look correct" however.

Took me a while to really figure out the best way to make it.

Those are just a quick version of 11R24.5 tires. I've been waiting for Michelin to get me a STP file of their XZY-3 model which is our standard tire.

CIRCULAR_WEAVE-4.JPG

I know this is the Friday Pictures thread, but I thought I would post an update on this.  All that needs doing now are the model parameters to be tweaked.
