frame generator

I am using IV 2010.  I am creating an assembly using frame generator.  I have finshed my first frame everything is good.  I need to make another frame identical with exception to one part.  How can I use the first frame to make the second? I have saved the skeleton as a new name and saved the assembly as a new name and did a replace with the skeleton then modified the skeleton to get the desired change. When I make the change the old assembly changes as well. I am trying to avoid making the assembly twice because of one part. thanks.

Depends on the assembly ... might be easier if we see a jpg or something.. If it was me I'd copy the sketch into a new IPT and change what was required and regenerate it
