Frame Generator

Hi

I have a part made by using solid modelling tools.I am going to use the Frame Generator to create this part next time ....I cannot find the size in the Frame generator to mimic Extrusion 4 .. Can Extrusion 4 be done with F.G?

You can add custom profiles to the Frame Generator library.

I have created with F.G but how do i trim the uprights to the underside of the bend plate ?

When you have a curved frame member like that, sometimes you have to use a trick to use it for trimming another member.

Edit the part you want to trim within the context of the assembly.

Copy Object the face you want to use as a trimming surface and then Split or Sculpt using that surface.
