Frame generator railing walkway's/platforms/stairs

Hi All!

For a lot of different platforms, walkways and stairs we are designing handrailing. Most of them in a different configuration. For just straight railing, frame generator is quite easy, but sometimes we should differ in height or with horizontal corners/bends. (see attachment for example)

In this case the columns aren't interrupted from bottom to toprailing. The toprailing is never interrupted and all midrailing is interrupted from column to column.

For what i think i should do for the best result is making a sketch, add some parallel planes with sketches and project each geometry of the previous sketch which is very devious..

For a frame with a horizontal bending I now make a straight railing and constraint the rest (after the bend) to it.

This is time inefficient and difficult to change if the design is changed. What I like to do is something like:

- making one sketch,

- rectangular pattern this sketch 4 times

- and then draw the railing with a connecting 3d sketch.

What is the very best/easy way to make a handrailing like the attachment?

Thanks in advance!
