Hi everybody.
I have some trouble with inventor2014.
I start creating my file as a new proyect and then, in "Folder options", i add de address of the file editing "Content Center Files".
Once created the sketch(.ipt), Im using frame generator(.iam) i create my skeleton part, save it, press insert frame, but then I get this error:
Frame Generator:Errors ocurred during inserting Frame Member(s)
Assemby1cannot be saved because a different level of detail representation is being edited. Please close all other level of detail representation in order to continue with edits
I´ve saved all in a file, different from default.
Ive included a couple of screen shots that show the error.
Please help as frame generator is useless until this is fixed and i need to design some frames.
Thanks for help in advance.
File name is ´hh´.
Hi,
Where did you create the sketch for your frame base, in the assembly? What is in the part file that you have open on the other tab?

Thanks for your reply.
The sketch was created in Part, not in Assembly. Once I created the sketch in Part(.ipt), i saved it and used the file saved in Assembly(.iam) using the option Place.
On the other tab is, as i told you, the sketch(.aim).
I hope this could make you help me.
