Frame Generator Assembly inserting into a part as a derived part problem

I have a frame generator assembly.

I have derived the assembly into a part.

I have created multi solids within this part projecting geometry off the derived part from the frame assembly.

If I change the frame generator sketch parameters, then open the dervied part. It updates fine and the multi solids stretch out as required.

My problem starts when i close both files and then reopen. Then change the frame generator sketch then open the derived part. Some plate profiles become sick. I need to edit the extrusions for the sketches to update.

Can someone please reproduce this issue.

I need an answer for this ASAP. Thanks

I would tackle this from the opposite direction.

1. Create a 'Design Part' in which your Frame skeleton and pther parts are molded as sperate bodies.

2. Derive your Frame skeleton out and build your frame.

3. Derive your other parts out.

4. Combien both sub assemblies into a 'Master assembly', ground and route everything to zero.

Understand your workflow and have used this way before.
However, it's much easier to work with the actual frame members visible.
