Frame Analysis - Additional Parts

Having an assembly, modeled in the frame generator, then with some additional parts (ribs, plates, etc) added to the assembly as parts and constrained with assembly constraints.. which is the best way to do a frame analysis with the frame analysis enviroment for considering  the all structure (frame generators parts + the additional enforcing parts) ?

The assembly look like for example, to this (modeled in autocad), just for give you an idea:

Any ideas?

I presume that frame analysis creates channels and nodes only from frame generator and from contente center...

For custom parts (plates..rib..special parts...) no solution?

Create and pubblic a custom part in the content center can be a solution..or neither in that case the frame analysis would reconizes channels and nodes?

Thank for support!

Correct, Frame-Gen analysis only reads the physical properties from the member data that is part of the Frame-Gen components eliminating the need to mesh these components. Components outside of Frame-Gen require meshing as part of the analysis process.

If the model has any symmetry, possible create a "cut" at the Assembly level and use either 1/2 or 1/4 model symmetry to reduce the size of your model and Mesh.

Using and adding custom nodes and rigid links can be the best approach to these cases?

Good question, I've never had the need to use them this way. I would isolate the are in question (use a Assmbly cut feature) and use the conventional FEA with meshing.
