Can't you use Insert and flip the solution if needed?

It seems to me that if you were to use this command

constrain.JPG

Then select this part of the screw

Then the comparable edge of the countersunk hole, it should mate fine.  You might want to place an offset distance in the mate, but that is your call.

thanks for replying...

if i use other screw like pan head or bolts , i can do auto drop...

you know , from placing from content center, then pick the center of the hole then edge of the hole then let go...

and all my applicable holes will get the screws in one shot.

for flat head , it doesnt work like that!!

i have to place the fh screw in the air , then constraint it in the center of the hole then flush the head to a face.

and i have to do it in every single countersunk hole because it doesnt populate like any screw...

it is frustrating!!!

Are you using the right countersunk screws? 100° vs 82°, etc., with a hole that's countersunk in the same way? Autodrop works for me with countersunk screws ...

I agree, the auto drop in worked for me as well.

Even without the autodrop in with what I suggested in my last posting the screw dropped right in.

Can't imagine that some FH screws work and some don't.
