Not sure why we ended up with two threads on this subject. It is best to try to keep the
topic under one thread. It makes it easier for people searching back through old posts.

I am probably missing exactly what it is you want. Maybe if you zip up and post a example
part to Inventor Customer files someone can help figure out a way to do what you want.
Just post back here when you have put the file in Inventor.customer-files to let us know.

To zip up a part you need something like winzip www.winzip.com
to post it to Inventor.customer files. follow the appropriate link here
Web
http://discussion.autodesk.com/WebX?14@186.Fx3taaT3ofu.79@.f15ad3a
Newsreader
news://discussion.autodesk.com/autodesk.inventor.customer-files

if on the web side start a new topic and use the browse tool to pick the zip file. If
using a newsreader use the attach function.

Generally you will want to send the IPT along with the IDW.

Generally in Sheetmetal work dimension go to the theoretical intersection. The
theoretical intersection on your part is still 2"
You can prove this by dimensioning to it. see how here
http://www.mymcad.com/KWiK/iClips/iClips.htm

What it sounds like you are now wanting is the outside tangents of the bends to be 2"?
You would have to calculate it or do it by trial and error, by making the original face
longer than 2".
