Finite Element Analysis

I have been informed that it is possible to perform FEA within Inventor. Have looked around the package at great length and cannot seem to find anything. Have I been misinformed or is the FEA a bolt on package?

Thanks.

With Regards.

FEA is a add on package you would have to purchase separate. There is a
somewhat watered down FEA in MDT.

Hi Kent,

Thanks for that information. Do you have any info on how much the FEA package would cost, where I could obtain it and a web address to look at it in the first instance please.

Thanks again.

All the best.

This would be a good place to start and then contact your reseller for prices

Thank you again Kent. You've been a great help. I'm a lecturer at a local college and we have Inventor and we have a need to teach FEA to the students and I need to find a good deal on an FEA package.

Thank you my friend.

All the best.
