Fillets.

Fillets are really frustrating me. It seems that I need to try many times just to get a simple fillet to work. Even some simple fillets don't go through because of an error of some kind. Can anyone give me some tips on how to make working fillets?

Yes fillets have been troublesome in the past and I
am not sure that its changed in 6.0, just not used them much yet. It seems to
depend on the order you apply them and whether they run to another feature
covering or consuming it. If you have an example we might to be able to shed
some light on it, but I am inclined to think that it will lead to modifying
other features for the fillet to take and  or changing the order they are
applied. IV will not always take to a fillet that could easily be applied in
real life.

I am drawing an engine and working on the fillets the go from the outside of the cylinder to the crank case. They are simple curves without any sharp angles and the radius isn't so high that it will alter other features. I have even tried very small radius' like .0001 and it still has an error of some kind.

Sometimes if another feature interrupts or would
interfere with a fillet it will fail.  Another technique I have used to
find the problem area is to select one edge at a time, then keep adding another
edge to the selection until it fails.
