am trying to open an .iam file that a pack and go was performed on. When I try
to open this file, I get the message that opening this file will cause a cycle
and inventor asks me to open another. Any help or thoughts would be helpful.
Thanks

Welcome to the community..
First you replied to a posting that is 13 years old. In the future when the posting is that old, create a new one.
Secondly you need to give us more details.
1. Inventor version you are using? Also are you up to date with Inventor.
2. The workflow that is causing this issue.
3. Maybe create an Autodesk screencast (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast) and show us the problem.
