FEA on Rubber Gasket

Is there any way to add a force load on a "contact plane" ?

Example, I am looking at several different gasket designs (imagine a windshield wiper blade with multiple wiping "fingers") (for lack of a better explanation)

Not all of the fingers will come into contact with the glass plane at the same time.

In other words, one finger will have to deflect first to allow the second finger to come into contact with the plane of the glass.

I can apply a force load to all of the fingers, but it is then simulated with the force being applied simultaneously, instead of sequentially. Does that make sense?

(See enclosed)

Hi,

I cannot see the picutre in your attached FEA report since the linked snapshots are not here. You can create the report as mhtml or rtf format, and the snaphots will be pasted into report. It will be better if you can share the dataset with me. You can send it to "shuangxi(dot)yuan(at)autodesk(dot)com".
