FEA load boundary condition arrows at crazy angles...

Recently the arrows that show load direction in stress simulation are displaying wrong.  If we apply a load to a face, the arrow shows at a weird angle that has nothing to do with the actual direction.  If we change the vectors manually, the arrow does not update.  Several of us have the same issue.  It seems it's a relatively new problem for 2014 (we are on SP2 update 1).  We didn't have this issue a couple months ago.

Anyone else getting this?

No problem for me with 2014 Sp2.

Can you attach a your problematic part with a force?

It does the same thing with any part.  I'll make an example shortly.  I'm just re-installin SP2 at the moment.

I removed "Update 1 for SP2" and that fixed the problem.  There is an issue with "Update 1 for SP2".

I see the same issue here with IV2015 Update2.

The problem is not there with IV2015 RTM and IV2015 Update1.

So Update1 for IV2014 SP2 and Update2 for IV2015 have the same bug.

It's very confusing and needs to be fixed asap ...

Hi Ikrenzler,

Thank you for reporting this, and we apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. The load direction is incorrect in the graphics, but the load is correct in the computations.

We are aware of the issue and have a fix prepared for upcoming updates.

Best regards,

-Hugh
