Hello
I have no clue if this can be done. I am creating a fan wheel (see attached). The fan blade needs to be extruded to the inside surface of a 2 piece cone assembly. To make it even more difficult, the inner portion of the blade needs to be cut at an angle so that the extrusion ends at the cones. See attached pdf reference sketch. The result for the flat pattern blade edge should be two parabolic curves. I dont think I am explaining this very well so please reply with questions to clarify
Any help on how to start would be greatly appreciated.

An assembly file (*.iam) is only a list of hyperlinks to the part files (*.ipt) and a record of assembly constraints (and a bit more).
You must include the part files.

I could only attach 3 files. Please advise if you need more detail.
Thanks in advance
You can place all files in a single folder.
Right click on the folder and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Attach the resulting *.zip file here.

This might get you on your way. Ask if you don't understand. Obvioulsy assuming I understood.
Thanks for the help. Now it seems so obvious. For future reference is it possible to extrude to other parts? In this instance I will need to sketch the cones twice. Is there a workaround?
Thanks again

Sorry to bother. I can split to one cone but is it possible to split to two cones.

Hopefully this is the last problem. I stitched the two cones, split the blade, and delete face on the remaining blade. Now the blade will not allow me to unfold the blade. If I supress the "delete face" feature then I can unfold but the blade is not cut contoured to the two cones.

Thanks for the help.
As soon as I "delete face" the "flat Pattern" section of the ribbon disappears. If I suppress the "delete face" feature the "Flat Pattern" re-appears but is not cut or sliced at the two cones.
Any ideas???
