Exporting sketch in an idw

Looking for a way to quickly and easily copy and paste a sketch from an IV drawing into another drawing. I have tried the simple copy and paste method however this most basic of commands is extremely un-user friendly in IV. All I need to do it copy and paste a sketch which is a drawing stamp (minimal text inside a box) and paste onto another IV drawing. Any tips on this would be most welcome.

Sounds like a perfect application for a sketched symbol.  After you create one, copy it to the Drawing Resources in your template(s), and you're good to go.

Also, a sketched symbol can be copy pasted between drawing files.

Thank you, that's just what I needed. I can now define a set of company drawing stamps for use between my IDW's.
