I am trying to export a latice structure part from inventor to x_t for import into Femap. Although it opens up the right size in autocad, when it drops into femap it is 1000 times too small. We have tried all sorts with units and scaling in femap but it wont work.
The plan was to scale it in inventor and export it again, problem is when you derive it through its about 2mb, when you scale it it goes up to 30ish mb and wont export as a x_t anymore...
Why does the filesize increase so much when scaling?
is there a limit as to what can be exported to x_t?
other formats do not seem to work as well
