Export Objects dialog box

I am reading the topic of "Derived Component" and have a question for your guys.

This may be silly but I don't have much experiences in Inventor...

In the "Export Objects dialog box" in the help, I understand that I can mark objects for export.

But after marking them for export, how do I use these objects?

Can you give some explanations? A simple sample would be much appreciated.
