Hi

Can anyone help me with this?

Is there a way to export a Inventor .iam/.ipt to .stp/.sat and keep material property and center of Gravity?

Is there any "external" format that will keep these properties?

When we export ipt/iam files to STEP/IGES/CATIA or any other CAD formats, the material property, like material name, density, etc. is NOT kept. If the STEP/IGES/CATIA or any other CAD formats contains solids, the Center of Gravity will be calculated directly by the respective CAD application. In data translation, Inventor does not write down such information directly.
