All
I have a multi level assembly that has about 1500 parts top to bottom with
about 35 different levels. I would like to export a BOM from the top level
with the subassembly tree expanded the entire way up. What I want to do is
give prototype a list of every part number needed and there quantites.
Both the Inventor idw and the Design Assistant limits us to a list of
either by parts only or by first level only. Either way you do it
subassemblies in level 2 and below are not accounted for. Does anyone have any
ideas other than starting at the top level assembly exporting the BOM and
going the rest of the way down the tree and finally throwing all items into 1
excel sheet.
Thank You
