Error when launching program

I have AutoCad2013  installed on my system, I am running Windows 8.1, my system updated automatically. After updating none of my Autodesk software will launch. When I try Inventor I get a capatibility error and I follow the link and get the SP1 file but it says it also no capatible. When I try and launch Autocad 2013 I get an error thas says" acad.exe This app has failed to start because its side by side configuration is in correct" I als have Revit 2013 on my system and an error comes up saying "This app was unable to start correctly (Oxc0150002)"

I am not sure what to do now. Any hep would be appreciated

Thx

Search this forum for WIndows 8.1

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

w1452175,

Please make sure that you have SP2 for AutoCAD 2013 installed.

Thank you.

I have the same issue with AutoCad 2012, running on Windows 8.  It has been working perfectly, hadnt used it for a couple of weeks, went to use it and the warning message 'acad.exe - Application Error, The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002)' comes up each and every time I try to open it.  I have gone through the AutoCad 2012 troubleshooting and tried uninstalling various programs, as well as running Autoruns, but with no luck.  Can anyone advise please?

Make sure you have all the SP's and Updates for your Autodesk product installed. If that doesn't work, you may have to uninstall the last Windows updates on your machine.

Hi! The issue you are encountering on Windows 8 might be different from others. I am not entirely sure if Inventor R2012 supports Windows 8. I need to double-check.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the advice. For some reason the computer won't allow me to instal any of the updates for autocad or inventor. Will find out how to uninstall the latest windows update.

Cheers
