Error in RSe clone commander

What is this error ?? There seem to be a 50/50 chance of getting this highly
annoying error when demoting to assemblies.
The annoying part is that the project file or something has registrered
that you tried to demote, so if you try saving to the same file it says it`s
in use.
So, to be able to demote again I`ll have to close the iam, and reopen it.

The workaround is to choose less parts for demoting, excluding certain
iparts for instance. I usually end up spending a couple of hours getting the
parts demoted because my model takes long time to reopen. I`ve had this
error since R4 I think.

The way I work is I have a iam with about 100-1000 parts depending on the
project. When everything is complete I go and demote into assemblies
(10-100 iams)

Regards,
Jorgen

Hi Jorgen,

Can you please post or send me a data set that has this problem so we can
take a look?

Hi, I just finished demoting this project now by only demoting a couple of
parts a time and then cut and paste the rest, so right now I don`t have any
"RSe-bugs" in my project.
If it is allright I`ll send you a data set next time this happen with one of
my projects.
I`ll make a note of yor e-mail

Regards,
Jorgen Hauan
