Erro missing LiteHtml.dll while instalation

Hi, On new notebook I installed windows 8 and i am not able to install Inventor- neither 2012 or 2013 or 2014.

I changed the value of CWDIllegalInDllSearch in rgedit, copied the *.dll files to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and C:\Windows\System32 . Also tried to run on compatibility with windows 7 - nothing.

Strange is, that before I installed UEFI intead of BIOS there was no problem (but put this back I donť want to) and when I run instalation in compatibility with windows XP the intalation runs but when i start Inventor, it falls immediatly.

I think it is same problem as here http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/Unable-to-instal-ACAD-2012-Internal-Error-2738/...  but for Windows 8.

The txt from installation I saved here http://leteckaposta.cz/177594853

The error is Install : ".NET Framework Runtime 4.0 Language Pack Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603"

Any ideas ? Tahnks for them ..

Hi,

I had same problem in installing 3ds max 2014. it was asking for LiteHtml.dll

I have windows 8 pro 64 bit in inspiron N5110. to solve problem follow these steps:

1. Open control Panel and click on Programs. Now in "Program and Features" section click on " Run Programs made for previous versions of Windows" .

2. As you will click, Program compatibility troubleshooter will pop up. click next. and wait. after that click "Not listed". and brows to select setup of autodesk program you want install. and click next.

3.Now click on "Test Program". as you will click, may be it will ask for Administrater permission to install program. if you don't see that, look at your task bar.and give permission.

now it will install software in your system.

4. Now click on next in troubleshooter and select "save settings for this progam"

5. Now you can use your software.

6.To use it you must have DirectX intalled in your system. otherwise again there will be some error. to download and install it go to this link:

I'm getting the LiteHtml.dll error message when attempting to install Revit 2014 on Windows 8 enterprise. When trying the compatibility mode as Windows XP (service pack 3) - Test the program... button, I get "Unsupported Operating System. You cannot install this product on the current operating system." error message.

I also used windows 7 compatibility mode but still got the error "The program can't start because LiteHtml.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this program."

Any other ideas?

thanks,

Jeff

Don't choose operating system yourself. Let it decide that. You just go to "Run program made for previous versions of windows" and when it asks for OS select that you don't know. it automatically select version.

By the way you can also try to this:

Download LiteHtml.dll file from:

extract it and copy the LiteHtml.dll into folder C:\Windows\SysWOW64 if it doesn't work try C:\Windows\System32 as well, and now restart PC, now install your software,

it should resolve your problem.

Hello. Sorry, I do not understand Spanish. I solved my error with
autodesk 2013 on windows8 by editing some PRESEQUETES file. I just
deleted some lines containing informations about Framework 4. I do not
have the file anymore, but I am sure you will succeed.
