I did manage to do it by copying to surface bodies and trimming with surface face. Is this the only way? Lot of work if you have more complex frame than this my example.

Download a trial of 2014.
So it is only way with 2013? I have to do it with 2013 because we have that in school and can't open 2014 with 2013.
Unfortunately I think that is the only way in 2013.
Wait, just to make sure - you are referring to bent tubes right?
Round tubes should trim, but not bent (round) tubes (without the extra copy object surface work)
I mean trimming tubes to each other. Tubes have straight section before end treatment. They have bends also but not where I want to trim them. Just like in the picture, I want to trim that straight tube to other tube.
The Frame Generator creates an assembly.
You can add components to any assembly.
A combination of 'trim to frame' & notch can get the result you want in 2013.
I've got a negative offset on one of the frame members, so that it stops short of halfway into the other tube & then I've used the notch command.
