Editing imported parts

Hello ALL,

I have imported a part from solidworks and I would like to know how do I go about editing it.  Specifically I need to edit the diameter of a hole on the part.

Hi!

What Inventor version?

You can use Direct Modeling to perform edits in imported cad parts with no tree of features.

Check the tool "Direct" in INV 2015 and you will be able to to a lot of kinds of direct edit. In previous releases, this tool also exist, but is little more hide.

You can look at Inventor Feature Recognition add in as well ...

If can also add and removed to the base solid as well thru normal extrusion/cut commands.
