[EASY] Working with drawings bug

Hi,

I am new to Autodesk Inventor 2012 and I'm working on a 3d car, the car is designed by one sketch a image is traced and extruded and the rest of the model is done from there on. What I want to do now is do up some drawings, the only problem is, when I allocate a base, Inventor only projects the axels, wheels and tray of the truck. Why is this happening?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

ORIGINAL PART:

Not a "bug". A bug implies there's something wrong with the software, not how a user "uses" the software.

It's hard to see from the image, but it appears that in your assembly, you have two surfaces and one composite surface. To get the body, it must be a surface, OR you can right click in the IDW on those components and try "Include  Surfaces.

Personally, I'd make the body a solid.

I've tried your soloution and it has worked. Thanks for your quick response. However, what do you mean by making the body a solid? I'd really like to know. Smiley Surprised

Try this part. You got yourself in trouble with the delete faces  (Starting with Delete Face1). All I did was move the EOP marker up to above the delete faces.

I would urge you to go through all the tutorials in Inventor. Go to Inventor Help to find the link to download the tutorials.
